not planning any parties for a long time.

thanksgiving next week. first time ever cooking for the fam, and first thanksgiving in our place.

went to Boone this past Saturday, really nice hike in Ashe county. We're in Boone a lot as it's the closest place to go hiking, and it's one of two nearby locations with an Earth Fare.

time to go read

too busy lately. need vacation!

going to attempt a Raleigh trip maybe in Nov, and if not then January. October, most of November, and all of December are already shot in terms of finding time to do something like that.

We're hoping DC move happens early next year. can't wait!

This is something I've been bitching about for a long time. Bottled water is such a waste of money it's not even funny, not to mention the clear environmental impacts. Sure it has it's uses, but I see people time and again scared to death of their own tap water (buy a damn filter if it tastes bad) that they buy cases and cases of the stuff.
