my 8800GTX died. My heatsink also failed.

Looks like I'm upgrading my computer early :(

Very pleased with my new heatsink so far, it's a corsair A50. My CPU is idling at around 30C

Pissed about the graphics card. I didn't realize I had to register it within a month after getting it to be eligible for the lifetime warranty. I bought it in 2007.

Virginia sucked, I'm so happy to be out of there, and back in North Carolina (no smoking in restaurants ftw)

The only thing I'm going to miss about VA is Paul and Danielle. In fact, we're going to miss them quite a bit. We had tons of fun hanging out and making new friends with them, and they were rocking neighbors. Never again :(

why am I a Marxist just by disagreeing with the Libertarian philosophy? I don't follow Libertarian or Marxist philosophies whether Adam Smith, Ayn Rand, or Karl Marx agrees with what I think or not, as I think both have the same flaws, and both are doomed to failure when followed to their full extent. Free markets are just as flawed as government controlled ones.

Was just reading an article on some Tea partiers from AP:

"People in the Tea Party movement are fiercely independent. They don't like being told what to do. It's like herding cats," said Chad Capps, strategy coordinator for a Huntsville, Ala., group."

Explains a lot. A group of people that have a problem with authority. I know a lot of African countries like this.

"When they leave office, we're going to make sure the private sector is aware of who they are and we'll make it virtually impossible for them to have a job even after they leave office," Wilkinson said. "Wherever they are, we will be there. We are not stopping. We're not going away. This is just the beginning."

wow..I don't even wish these things on Dick Cheney and George W. It's not going to help anything, and it just makes them, to me, look even more like a group of spoiled children than a legitimate political party.

but I love my wife. So, as I work on my next Seattle post, I will do this for her

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
6. Tag five people

logprimary is the number of primary log files, defined in the database configuration file
logsecond is the number of secondary log files, defined in the database configuration file
logfilsiz is the number of pages in each log file, defined in the database configuration file
2 is the number of header pages required for each log file

from the IBM DB2 Adminstration Guide.

not tagging anyone. if you feel like posting this, consider yourself tagged.
